first things first, this is just a random post haha.

i'm so tired!
but i feel very inspired i feel like doing work.
weird.
but i mean, when i have ideas i don't feel like sleeping because i will forget everything
i got royally lost in nus today.
really one tourist. seriously you can sell tickets to watch me getting lost in action.

i was with jazzy and her tubee -_- lol.
she has really great friends. they helped her a lot!
didn't charge my phone today so my batt died on me.
what am i doing man.
so sorry haha. i know some of you (mostly one, maybe two haha) thought i went missing.
cny was great. catching up with my cousins i mean.
they're really wonderful to be with.
we played wii. starwars and boxing.
absolutely unglamorous, haha.
i have some dumb videos actually.
we were all squashed in a tiny room playing on a teeny teevee set.
i kept moving nearer and nearer to the set as i played.
no wonder they needed to include the wrist strap in case people get too carried away and toss the controller at the screen.
my cousin iris revamped her room.
beautiful.
i loved it so much.
has a very laid back and resort feel to it.
my gosh. i can't wait till i can have a room like that!
i wanna decorate my room prettily too!
but no money and it's too much trouble to redecorate my room now.

WHAT'S IN A NAME?
so i wanted something simpler, and that included an easier to remember blogadd.
lol.
no hyphens and lesser yyyy-s.
bf has been asking me to get a simpler email addy as well.
but i'm afraid blood will be spilled if i change it, AGAIN.
was reading through some of my archives just now,
realised, i blog a little differently compared to the past.
not so excitable, a bit more restraint. say, 5%?
haha. not much actually.

so what's in a name?
i wanted some kind of flower. went through a list. didn't want too many syllables either.
rose. lily. tulip etc. but i don't like lilies! and i like roses very much so, ah why think so much.
ROSE it shall be.
next step.
pair it with another pretty word.
hmm. some words which ran through my head.
fancy? nope sounds very mabel-ish.
passion? sounds a bit wrong.
bubbles? too cutesy.
smooches? ehhhh.
rainbow? nah a bit too teenybopper for me.
impression? okok not too kiddy. put them together. sounds girly enough to make me happy.
there you have it. roseimpressions! yay. ^^V

we had steamboat together with my family plus my grandparents.
it's his first time eating with them!
but he wasn't nervous. haha. oh. first time my mom invited any of my bfs for dinner too.
ate until we were bursting at the seams.
grandma made very pretty agar agar!
gramps was very excited lol.
oh. muffin had a bath too. for cny! haha. super cute.
gramps has to be him as i can't handle the naughty fella.
he looks very nice and fluffy now after he's had his bath.
i should take a pic of him in all his cuteness. whaha.
and the first day of cny. the new highlights.
BABIES!
both of them are one month old.
2 of my cousins, justin, 25 and timothy, 27 are new papas!
it was totally unplanned.
so last year they were still happily hanging out with us and BOOM!
they gave me red packets just now i couldn't stop giggling.
and they walked in carrying baby bags packed to the brim.
aren't they lovely?
zabel is huge. she's twice the size of theodore as he's one month premature.
he weighed less than 2kg at birth.
his mom was robbed in a shopping centre and during the struggle the foetus shifted so doctors had to induce his birth.
the culprit was arrested.
the dimbulb. pregnant lady also rob. HOW SINFUL.
so i'm an aunt. well, sort of. i love babies!
timmy promised to make me his daughter's godma. hehe. she looks like an apple.
her cheeks. whoa.
but theodore, we didn't really dare to carry him.
he's a darling. but very very small and very fragile!
scared.
ok i'm super tired now after all that visiting today.
time for my bedtime shower and sleep.

UP AND RUNNING
yes i know i'm blogging again for the don't-know-how-many nth time today. but yay! out of sheer randomness and a sudden surge of motivation i think i've managed to get this new blog functioning. i might have missed a few things though. do let me know if i've left anything out. in the meantime. i still want feedback!

I was bored..so I went to read up on bunny behaviour a bit..
- Turns back on you - you have been dismissed (LOL)
- Flopped with both back legs out side together - relaxed (tsk. my bunny has to be VERY relaxed in that case)
- Flat as possible on tummy with ears laid down in relaxed way - wants to be petted (funny! Muffin keeps flattening himself on the ground)
- Pokes you with nose - marking or accepting you (aha my nosy rabbit keeps pushing his nose against me)
- Jumping and twisting in the air THE BINKY DANCE - happy rabbit (my bunny dances day in day out rain or shine)
- Racing wildly around the room - in the absence of any fear stimulus this is a happy bunny (I have one delighted bunny in my house. no idea what he is so happy about but he races around like a mini F1 car)
- Stands up on hind legs (called telescoping) - checking things out (Muffin keeps doing that! very cute! he loses his balance sometimes and lands on his backside!)
yesterday was spent as Jazzy's house! I was supposed to be there by 3..but no surprises..I totally miscalculated and ended up leaving my house at 3.. -_- n there's no direct route to her house..so I took a train all the way to Bishan..I felt as worn out as a door mat..but thankfully she came to help me carry my stuff at the mrt station! (: thanks jas!
spent a couple of hours doing her blogshop stuff..change n change..n we yakked n yakked all the way..no wonder they say girls speak more than 10,000 words each day..I think on some days I hate 20 to 30k easily..HAHA..
thought the last train was at 11.45 but I got lucky when I arrived at the station the last train was approaching in 2 mins..wonder where all the time went..just flew by!
bf called me around 3+ n we talkedddddddd allllllllll the way to 5+..it's been a while since we had such long conversations..nice and soothing and meaningful (: so despite whatever past arguments we might have had..we get along very well..in fact we don't really argue much honestly..and he has a way of making me see things in different perspectives..even for the smallest things..
are you my one in a million?

let's see here......hmm..
I was trying on some clothes last week..
1 - kimino top from TUBEE! Jazzy n SY's blogshop! my very first kimono top..uh oh! start of more to come (:
2 - next one is some cheongsam which I bought 2 years ago?? bought I've nv worn it..maybe tis CNY! see how la..really lazy to dress nicely for any occasion..even when I wear nice dresses I match it with the same plain black slippers haha..
3 - my fave dress! kinda have some sentimental value to me??? cos I was wearing this the first time I met my bf..(bet he can't remember tho boo lol) I've had it for some time but I've only work it.........thrice -_- becos I'm too short n the material is kinda heavy so it keeps sliding down..I recently had it altered..TOO SHORT! so now it has become a top..haha..
n this is me 3-4 days after my lasik! have to wear sunglasses everywhere..n er..without an ounce of makeup..can't put makeup to reduce infection..so I look very shitty n extremely freckly! nono not gonna show u =PpP not nice!
so my lasik was over n done with in 3 weeks! actually I first went to the doctor as my eyes were paining me..u know my constant eye irritation n VERY frequent usage of eyedrops for the past TWO YEARS..I couldn't take it anymore..plus I was scared of going blind..my eyes were actually off white-yellowish EEEEE! n so he said my eyes were like that due to my sensitivity..eczema n asthmatic history..n that my best option was to go for lasik..but as my eyes were still red he couldn't diagnose properly n told me to go back after another week..
so I went back again the next week..did a few tests..pupil dilation test to see if I was suitable for lasik n dunno what..n ok! can! arranged for pre-lasik consulation followed by my lasik itself last week..Mon n Tues..I said I wanted it ASAP..but I didn't think it would be so soon u know..I was really scared..not enough mental preparation haha..I didn't even have much time to read up on it =/
it was held at Shaw House..AsiaMedic! on Mon I spent 20 mins looking into machines as they scanned my eyes n everything..to test my power..capture images of my iris (iris thumbprint she said?) as it is unique only to me..so no mistakes in using someone else's eye information..check if my cornea was thick enough to do lasik etc..super fast..I was told that pre-tests would take at least 2 hours!
n on Tues..my lasik was scheduled at 9 am..didn't have breakfast..BIG MISTAKE..I was nervous n jumpy n all..the doc explained what to expect during the procedure ..had to sign some kind of indemity form..he said I still could back out if I wanted to! but siao ah..go so far already..my gramps was there with me..she paid for the whole thing! (: had to wear the medical gown..I have no idea what it the right word for it..plus the cap thing..there were 5 ppl inside the operating theatre..2 nurses..1 doc..2 engineers..the moment I stepped inside it felt SURREAL..as if I was in a parallel dimension..cos the room was so so so WHITE..n so clean..n COLD..it was a freezer..can't let the machines overheat! n the operating table..VERY SCARY! in the middle of the room..WAH..I nv imagined it to be like that..luckily the nurses were very friendly!
so I slowly climbed onto the table..n the nurse gave me those thick heavy blankets..which was very good becos I gripped them very very very hard during the lasik to calm myself down..
first after I lay down..they placed a special kind of pillow under my head..very nice n soft n mouldable to the shape of the head..so that you can't move..haha..after that they adjusted the machine over my head..n it got very bright..they did my right eye first! preparation..administration of anaesthetic eyedrops..just the eye..one drop! then they taped my eyelashes back..top n bottom..followed by using a ring-like speculum to prop the eyelids open so that I couldn't blink..this was very uncomfortable....I mean imagine ur eyelids being stretched wide open zzz..after that they pasted a whole tape over my face..so that only the part of the eye that was going to be cut was visible..it got a bit freaky here becos one min I could see..next min it got blur..a flap was cut in my cornea..n the doc lifted it up! felt kinda helpless..awake n lying there as my cornea is being lifted!!! super weird..but it didn't hurt at all..not one bit..the doc told me to look at the blinking light in front of me..followed by the laser..for 30 secs! they counted down for me..could hear sounds from the machine..n 5..4..3..2..1..HURRAY! the doc washed my eye b4 putting the flap down..n removed all the tape n everything b4 starting on my next eye..
my left eye was trickier! cos when they did my first eye..I was fine..I didn't move or anything..but I have no idea why..when they started on my next eye..I started feeling dizzy n I wanted to puke! but I was already lying down there..no choice! had to tahan..n the right side..didn't hurt at all..but when my left eyelid was propped open I felt pain..not very but enough tp make me feel alarmed as the right eye didn't hurt at all..so to be safe..I was afraid that the anaesthetic wasn't enough..rather more than less right this kinda thing haha..so I kept saying PAIN PAIN PAIN..so..another drop..same thing! but this round laser was 36 secs!
the whole procedure took 20 mins..v fast right! the laser only 30 n 36 secs! the rest was the preparation!
immediately after that he told me to try n open my eyes..there wasn't any pain at all then..just the sensation of..sand in the eyes..n very hard to open! had to force myself to open them..n he told me to try n tell the time on the clock in front of me..a bit blurry at first..but..I COULD SEE! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...............................
n so yeah! I conclude that it is one of the best things ever! the sand in the eye feeling only lasted for a day..n it didn't even hurt..sore eyes are way more painful..my eyes are just a bit dry in the morning when I wake up..n I have to keep putting antibiotic drops n lubricating drops..but I'm seeing as right as rain! (: I've already gone back for 2 reviews..one the day after lasik n a week after it..which was yesterday..n he said my eyes are healing very well..n my vision is almost perfect..u have no idea how happy I was to hear that..
WHOOPEEDOO! no more specs n contact lenses! n I will look after my eyessssssss..in fact it feels quite like a dream..after so many years of being short-sighted..(since pri 1)..now I can wake up n see clearly! n I keep thinking that I have to take out my lenses b4 I sleep..
the feeling is simply amazing! so happy with it..

first after I lay down..they placed a special kind of pillow under my head..very nice n soft n mouldable to the shape of the head..so that you can't move..haha..after that they adjusted the machine over my head..n it got very bright..they did my right eye first! preparation..administration of anaesthetic eyedrops..just the eye..one drop! then they taped my eyelashes back..top n bottom..followed by using a ring-like speculum to prop the eyelids open so that I couldn't blink..this was very uncomfortable....I mean imagine ur eyelids being stretched wide open zzz..after that they pasted a whole tape over my face..so that only the part of the eye that was going to be cut was visible..it got a bit freaky here becos one min I could see..next min it got blur..a flap was cut in my cornea..n the doc lifted it up! felt kinda helpless..awake n lying there as my cornea is being lifted!!! super weird..but it didn't hurt at all..not one bit..the doc told me to look at the blinking light in front of me..followed by the laser..for 30 secs! they counted down for me..could hear sounds from the machine..n 5..4..3..2..1..HURRAY! the doc washed my eye b4 putting the flap down..n removed all the tape n everything b4 starting on my next eye..
my left eye was trickier! cos when they did my first eye..I was fine..I didn't move or anything..but I have no idea why..when they started on my next eye..I started feeling dizzy n I wanted to puke! but I was already lying down there..no choice! had to tahan..n the right side..didn't hurt at all..but when my left eyelid was propped open I felt pain..not very but enough tp make me feel alarmed as the right eye didn't hurt at all..so to be safe..I was afraid that the anaesthetic wasn't enough..rather more than less right this kinda thing haha..so I kept saying PAIN PAIN PAIN..so..another drop..same thing! but this round laser was 36 secs!
the whole procedure took 20 mins..v fast right! the laser only 30 n 36 secs! the rest was the preparation!
immediately after that he told me to try n open my eyes..there wasn't any pain at all then..just the sensation of..sand in the eyes..n very hard to open! had to force myself to open them..n he told me to try n tell the time on the clock in front of me..a bit blurry at first..but..I COULD SEE! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...............................
n so yeah! I conclude that it is one of the best things ever! the sand in the eye feeling only lasted for a day..n it didn't even hurt..sore eyes are way more painful..my eyes are just a bit dry in the morning when I wake up..n I have to keep putting antibiotic drops n lubricating drops..but I'm seeing as right as rain! (: I've already gone back for 2 reviews..one the day after lasik n a week after it..which was yesterday..n he said my eyes are healing very well..n my vision is almost perfect..u have no idea how happy I was to hear that..
WHOOPEEDOO! no more specs n contact lenses! n I will look after my eyessssssss..in fact it feels quite like a dream..after so many years of being short-sighted..(since pri 1)..now I can wake up n see clearly! n I keep thinking that I have to take out my lenses b4 I sleep..
the feeling is simply amazing! so happy with it..

mudpie which I'm simply craving for right now..eeeeek! n the chocs which Mabs gave me..simply awesome! I ate them in the middle of the night..my tummy felt nice n warm..hehe..
went to the eye clinic yest to pick up my admission letter..n since I didn't wanna go home n go out again I made my way to Jas' house..SY was already there..they were taking pics for their blogshop..I like their present collection! managed to pick up 2 items for myself -_- satin material! I just can't resist..plus florals..hehe..but nvm..take it that I'm supporting my frens! really hungry after that..we headed to Bugis! hajilane hee..we were there at 6.30..sat there till 10..eating n playing cards..super fun..we had apple flavoured shisha too!

whoopeedoo!
let's see..I went to the zoo last week! so happy..haven't been to the zoo for years! I was super excited..the ticket queue was so long..we waited 40 mins? I hopped up n down while my bf just looked stoic..like resigned to fate kind of thing lol..but I had fun! I loveeeee to look at penguins! the way the waddle around v cute..too bad no bunnies..but nvm I have my bunny at home!
n wad else did I do..I'm sure I threw a few tantrums last week -_- my poor bf was v nice about it..we watched Yes Man! I actually liked it..thought it was funny..I liked the red bull part..
fri I went out with Jas..Jannah n SY! haven't seen nana for a v v v long time! missed her..but v sorry..she witnessed sy n I go mad at cotton on..bras for $10! how to resist! but I wasn't as bad as sy..HEE..I actually put some back..n I didn't spend much! sy had the most damage.. =P I know wad occupation suits me already..heh heh..Jas had presents for me! yippee..thankyou! bf came to fetch me after tat..we went haji lane for shisha! tis round's shisha was nicer than the rest! smelled really good..peach! $15 only..ok right?
the rest of my time was spent with my nose in a book..the twilight series! I couldn't find eclipse in stores..told me to wait till end of Jan! would have gone mad by then..bugged my bf to find it for me..he managed to find me the pdf file!

TWILIGHT! wheeeeee..I'm halfway through Breaking Dawn now..I think it's a wee bit gross!

oh no! I FINALLY went to an eye doctor yesterday..after putting up with YEARS of redness every month n living on eyedrops..n my eyes were actually yellowish..YUCK! n they'd smart n everything..so yes! at long last..the doc said it's due to my hay fever..eczema n hypersensitivity..not suitable for contacts..cos it cuts off oxygen supply to the eyes..so he suggested..LASIK! n since I can't wait anymore..I'm like half blind..I couldn't see Jannah even when she was 2 metres away from me -_- my treatment is scheduled for next tues! I'm actually quite scared..dunno if I'd chicken out..so I've been wearing specs these few weeks..UGLY..!
k la I better stop typing I think I'm sort of yammering on n on..
vain as I always am la..indulge me ok! now I'm wearing specs lei!
these 2 dresses which I bought from scarletroom! I haven't worn them..to think I bought them for xmas! ok..so dear friends..felicia DOES NOT need clothes..don't let her buy any!
