on the 2nd day, which was a friday, we decided to head to ocean park as weekends would probably be too crowded.
we took the mtr to the interchange at admiralty, and we bought 2 pineapple buns to eat along the way.
i love the pineapple buns! wish i could have one now but the ones in sg ain't nice boo.
looks just like our cbd area!
at the entrance of ocean park. what do you suppose he's hiding behind his back?
a cigarette, what else haha.
i actually snapped a pic with him n the cig but he said "cannot, take another one later your mom see how" -_- lol
haha. looks like i can go on the rides!! i'm tall enough! but. b-a-r-e-l-y yikes!
we had to take several escalators to get to the main areas of ocean park.
i was very very frightened as i have a fear of escalators.
it was horrid!
but the breathtaking view up there made up for it. hee.
flamingos! not very exciting i know but i was very intrigued by how they can balance so comfortably on one leg.
floating on their backs! how cute!
so graceful. i tried many times to capture them in midair but this is the best i could get.
i just loved this gigantic pool! many huge stingrays gliding around. i think stingrays look very cute when you look at them from the bottom. they look as if they are smiling!
jellyfish spectacular! though they just look like blobs, i really love the colours.
jellyfish are 90% water, have no brain, no central nervous system and no specialised body systems like digestive systems etc! they are also luminescent!
nature is really wonderful.
beautiful!
we went to the carnival section where bf and i played some games!
like ringtoss, cointoss etc.
bf played some shooting game, he's quite good at it! as i was telling him he'd better be considering he's been through ns! heh. HAPPY! cause i got 2 soft toys and he bought me my beloved soft toy seal which i absolutely love and couldn't find i singapore!
after that we took the cable car down to another area to see the pandas!
super afraid of heights, i didn't dare to move an inch in the cable car.
there were 4 pandas in total, the adults were kept separately, while there were 2 babies together! i can't really remember their names - An An and Le Le???? most of the visitors were swamped at the babies' enclosure. i only took pics of the babies. hee.
oops! shaky hands but this pose is just so adorable and clumsy looking.
they are just so cute i tell you. they kept eating and eating and before that they'd sniff at the leaves first and throw those away which they didn't like. i wonder how they differentiate. all the bamboo leaves look the same to me???
they even lean back and rest against the logs while eating, super relaxed omg these pandas!
such a good life.
look so round!
they are really so playful. we were lucky enough to see them playing and acting like kids! one of them kept disturbing the other. it actually came over and gave the other one a gigantic bear hug HAHA pardon the lousy pun and made the other one roll.
seriously. so cute lorh! they were rolling around!!!
help me!!
=D
i took more pics of the pandas than i took for ourselves. haha. nonsense.
yup! update another time.
